Gloucestershire Energy from Waste Facility announces first-ever open day
/Today, the Gloucestershire Energy from Waste Facility has announced that its first-ever open day will take place on Saturday 26th March 2022 at Javelin Park, giving attendees the chance to learn about what happens on-site and how it generates enough electricity to power the equivalent of around 25,000 homes across Gloucestershire. During the three one-hour sessions, taking place at 10 am, 11:30 am and 1 pm, visitors will be able to view the official Facility film, detailing the energy from waste process, as well as see first-hand the various plant and equipment on-site including, waste cranes, combustion grate and stack.
