The Gloucestershire Energy from Waste Facility was developed after the grant of a Planning Permission by the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government in 2015.

The Secretary of State Decision Notice including full set of Planning Conditions can be viewed HERE.
All other planning documents related to the facility (including schemes developed to satisfy certain operational conditions) can be viewed via Gloucestershire County Council’s public access planning portal HERE.
In order to operate the facility, it was necessary to apply for and successfully secure an Environmental Permit from the Environment Agency (EA).
