Progress Update: Major Construction Underway

On 7th November, we announced that major construction works were underway. This was heralded by the arrival of piling equipment on site, to install the piled foundations to support major buildings, process equipment and the waste bunker.

Other site preparation works include the construction of site access roads, site drainage and the preparations for the construction ‘village’ and compound, which will be in place by the end of the year.  The construction of the plant will take around 33 months, and at peak activity some 400 people will be working on site.
